·
The
video is based on the daily routines of a teenage rappers/boys who are rather
rebellious and passionate about his beliefs, lifestyle and art, but rather than
stating the obvious he prefers to go about it in a more artistic and
intelligent way. We aimed to create a video that will express the rebellious
feel that this song gives us. The story line opens with the teenagers daily
morning routine which includes getting ready and dressed in urban and ‘lousy’
gear, grabbing his skateboard and skating off in his East London estate. He
then meets up with his skateboarder friends in similar clothing who area
apparently waiting for him. As skateboarders are often seen as rebellious and
anti-social, we chose to make skateboards and skateboarding one of the main
activities in this video. The characters appear to be on their journey to
school in the late morning. On their way they face various obstacles and
difficulties from life.
·
The
lyrics of the song are very metaphorical and there seems to be no apparent
story line. Therefore, the video with its story line will make various
references to the lyrics of the song through props, actions and scenery.
·
The
concept of this video is to show the daily routines of the character in an exaggerated
and somewhat humorous way, in other words an introduction to who they are and
what they stand for.
·
The
locations for this song include a bedroom, the interior of a flat, a school and
various streets around forest gate/Stratford.
·
The
length of the video and song roughly around three minutes, but we may add a few
seconds of film extra at the end.
·
The
actors used in the video will be friends who are willing to help as well as
ourselves. The two main actors and around 7 extra actors.
·
The
main props will be; skateboards, Wu-Tang clan T shirts, a fake syringe, grills
(golden teeth), school bags, random clothing accessories such as watches.
·
The
audience is mainly for people who are into Hip Hop music, but of course we aim to
attract all music listeners
·
We
will be using YouTube for our channel for broadcasting.
